DC Wine Week finally kicked off this past Saturday the 13th.
The VIP only event saw a flurry of media and the who's who of the nations capital. The entire team has been working hard, but with a bun in the oven, I get extra tired, extra fast. But I made it to Saturday and had a blast!
I had a few sips of wine here and there, but I mostly had ginger ale in a champagne glass. Hey, I have to keep it classy!
And as far as what to wear that night, I did struggle a bit. I didn't want to wear black so I opted for a Banana Republic skirt (this is the last time I can wear this), a sparkly teal top that I got a Target for $7, a tangerine blazer from Belk and our lovely friend Kristin Biggs accessorized us.

The week is just beginning and tomorrow night, I am co-hosting Red, Burgundy & Plum: A Night of Fashion and Wine at Lost Society with Zina Boutique and Stella & Dot Stylist Kristin Biggs.
Our guests include area bloggers, media and fashion and wine lovers all in one place - the ticket includes one hour open bar, food and a fashion showcase.
Yes! I have my outfit all planned out and I'm going to paint my nails. I found some great autumn colors from E.L.F for $2 so I need to get to it.
Can't wait to show you my look, which by the way does not include any maternity wear!
