Careful what you YouTube, it may embarrass your husband

Being a blogger means having the ability to take the piss out of oneself and just being able to have a laugh every once in a while.

This video does just that.

Last July I was in the production of Sisterly Feelings with my Am Dram group in West London. On the last night we had a cast party. Naturally there was wine, dancing and... oh someone just happened to be filming this (that would be my cousin who was visiting from NYC).

I put it up on YouTube voluntarily along with the MILLIONS of other videos labeled "Lazy Song" or "Bruno Mars". It's only had 46 views, mostly friends and the theatre group.

Two weeks ago the Mr. asks me "Did you post a video of you dancing on YouTube?"

Ummmmmmmm????? I quickly thought of all the vlogs I've done but none included dancing. Then I remembered "Ahhhh, yes, at the cast party last year, remember?"

He just stared at me blankly and completely unimpressed responded with a harsh "No".

Okay then...so why was he asking?

He had received an email from an old colleague (from seven years ago) that said:

"Hey, happy new year. I found this video of your wife (I think) on YouTube. Weird".

Whaaaat?! I don't think it's THAT bad. But you judge for yourself...and if you want to laugh at me, go ahead. I do. Every time I see this.

And if you are wondering, the Napoleon Dynamite looking dude is Julian our tech guy (I had no idea he was even there). And the older lady is Jana, she writes children's books and is the coolest woman over 60 that I know.

Good times! (despite embarrassing the Mr. Sorry!)
